Counter-Strike 2 fans recently watched top notch gameplay at the Katowice event. The Spodek housed the best teams from around the world, including FaZe Clan.
Our team arrived at Katowice, Poland, ready to engage in the esports arena. Our purpose was two-fold: hang out with all the fans while support FaZe Clan, and also test just how good the attendees are with 3D Aim Trainer. Those who were had the exclusive chance to compete on a daily leaderboard for an opportunity to win SteelSeries gear.
The main stage
The atmosphere in the arena was electrifying, according to our team. The production quality was staggering; for instance, if a bomb was planted in the game, the stage would turn red and show a progress bar synced with the game. At the moment of explosion, fire would shoot onto the stage.
"The area was alive," said Brian "Mayday" May, Digital Content Producer, who attended. "This event was clearly the most important thing happening in Katowice. Buidlings around town were cloaked in IEM branding, thousands of fans came into the arena with FaZe being the favorite team there. Poland treats CS2 better than most American sports events!"
"We were so close to the stage you could feel the fire, my eyes would tear up," May said.
FaZe Clan played incredibly well, only losing to Team Spirit in the Grand Finals. We congratulate them on their well played matches, GG!
"Even when FaZe lost, the crowd still changed 'Karrigan! Karrigan!' He began crying under all the love from the community."
With every Grand Final there has to be a runner up. 🥹@FaZeClan showed that they are still one of the absolute best teams on the planet in Counter-Strike 2.@neo_fkubski@karriganCSGO@FaZe_rainCS@FROZENNcs@ropz@brokypic.twitter.com/gZiL1XhwEs

How true is your aim?
We began with two computer setups with 3D Aim Trainer challenges. This was a huge success; the initial setup quickly needed to be increased due to fan enthusiasm. We are thankful to Intel for increasing the setups to 5! We saw players return day after day to keep up their names on the leaderboards.
The 3D Aim Trainer team gathered lots of valuable feedback from the attendees, so while it was overall pretty well received, they will gladly incorporate and improve on various aspects of the software in the future.

We're incredibly happy to be part of such an impressive event celebrating Counter-Strike 2. We can't wait for the next opportunity to hang out with CS2 fans!
